What's new in DMX Core 100
Changes released from August to October 2026
Here's a quick look at what we've released since August. Each topic has its own post if you want the details.

Highlights
- Stream Routing. Pass a console's DMX through to the rig while DMX Core 100 runs its own cues and schedules, merged by priority. Take in sACN, Art-Net or DMX-512 and send it out as Art-Net, sACN, KiNet, TPM2.net or DMX-512.
- Sig-Net (experimental). Sig-Net output, input, routing and recording.
- sACN and Art-Net 4 compliance. E1.31 Universe Discovery, and network output that recovers on its own after a link drop.
- Control Values, rebuilt. No DSP needed, and a knob, Stream Deck dial, script or Symetrix wall knob can all control the same light without jumps.
- TouchOSC panels with live feedback, plus a setup video.
- Integration API for control systems, and a Bitfocus Companion module.
- Channel Tester, 2D Visualizer and Scene Panel for setup and touchscreens.

Update through the Web UI or desktop software. A few changes behave differently than before, so check these after you update:
- Control Value step amounts (Sep 17) - an Up / Down amount of
1now means 1%, not 100%. Full scale is100. If a key, trigger, milestone, script or OSC message used exactly1to jump to full, change it to100. - OSC arguments (Oct 16) - built-in addresses now fire on no argument or any non-zero value and ignore
0. Fade time, loop count and step amount have moved to sub-addresses (/fade,/loop,/step). Check any show-control software that sent those as arguments. - Control Value triggers (Sep 16) - now fire on any change, not only changes from the DSP side, so a schedule that sets a value can fire a trigger.
- Remote Control Host (Oct 17) - now validated before it's saved, and hidden by default on new installs (existing units keep their setting).
New to DMX Core 100?
DMX Core 100 is a professional DMX lighting control platform that runs as desktop software on Windows, macOS and Linux, or on dedicated 4.3" and 7" touchscreen hardware. It streams up to 800 universes at 40 Hz (600 at 60 Hz) over Art-Net, sACN, KiNet and TPM2.net, plus DMX-512 and USB DMX, and routes live input from your console alongside its own playback. Record shows from a console or program fixtures directly, then automate with schedules, triggers, JavaScript and the visual timeline editor. Control it from TouchOSC, Stream Deck, MIDI, Q-SYS, Symetrix, Home Assistant or any control system through the Integration API.
Remote access through the cloud portal works with both the hardware and the desktop software (an internet connection is required), and the first year is included.
Software licenses start at $399 (Basic) and $599 (Full). The 4.3" Wall Controller is $999; the 19" rack mount is available separately. The demo mode is free with all features, no signup and no time limit.
